Yushu Park boasts dense groves of trees, creating plenty of cool shade. The park features many pathways, mostly flat, perfect for elderly walkers and young children.

The grassy lawns in the bamboo forest are ideal for spreading out picnic mats and relaxing, chatting, reading, or playing games.

In the Cuizhu Garden of Baiyun Mountain, tall bamboo trees create a green dome that blocks the summer sun. Walking along the paths, visitors can find babbling streams that offer refreshing water play opportunities. While in the Zhuxi of Baiyu Mountain, visitors can smell fresh bamboo aroma in the moist air.

The Zhushanchong section of the Huangma Trail is renowned for providing the ultimate bamboo forest hiking experience in Guangzhou. The route winds almost entirely through lush bamboo forest, passing clear streams and natural pools along the way.
