For many Hong Kong and Macao youngsters, coming to Guangzhou to start businesses can be easier, because Tianhe district has built Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base.

The incubation base offers a package of policies to facilitate young entrepreneurs, including up to 3 years of rent-free tenure, coupled with a 5-year phase with rent rates lower than the market price. 

The incubation base has special apartments that are ready for young entrepreneurs to move in, with all utilities set up.

Moreover, the base provides co-shared conference rooms, roadshow rooms, gyms, a 24-hour book cafe and cafeterias, together with shuttle buses to the metro station, all for free.

Till now, over 210 tutors from all walks of life have stationed at the base, of whom 40 are from Hong Kong and Macao.

Meanwhile, the base also hosts activities of diverse themes to help entrepreneurs to adapt to the community more easily, such as tree planting, outdoor running and face-to-face conversations with academicians.
