A porcelain painting art exhibition themed on Dunhuang mural art opened at Yuancun Workers Cultural Palace in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on January 11.

Curated by Fan Minqi, Chinese master of ceramic art and president of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, the exhibition showcases 60 pieces (sets) of Dunhuang themed porcelain paintings and two Dunhuang themed porcelain caves.

Dunhuang in China's Gansu province is known for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Mogao Caves, which house the finest Buddha art in China, and it was a key stop on the Silk Road in ancient times.
