Recently, a city music camp named "020 hertz" has kicked off at NEW IN, a fashion landmark located on Beijing Lu in Yuexiu district of Guangzhou.

HEART BEAT, a band boasting 10 years' experience in live show, was invited to give opening performance and brought audiences a slew of familiar songs of various styles.

Yuexiu is the birthplace of pop music in Guangzhou. From Violet, the first pop band in China which was established in 1978, to the first music teahouse (forerunner of livehouse) of the country, Yuexiu represents half the history of Chinese pop music thanks to its abundant cultural heritage together with its inclusive and open business climate.

Besides NEW IN, 020 hertz music camp has also put on tour shows at other places of the district, such as Dongping Daya (東平大押) located on No. 1 Zhongshan Silu (中山四路) , the northern section of Beijing Lu, and Lumina, a popular mall adjoining the Pearl River. NEW IN was chosen as one of the performance sites for its prime location. And it is also a hub of trendy retail stores, scene displays, art exhibitions and social activities.

Audiences are able to appreciate live music shows at NEW IN every Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., with seven upcoming shows to be held on June 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27, and August 3 and 10 respectively.

TheSevens, a local band from Guangzhou will perform on June 29. Established in 2017, the versatile band has held multiple concerts and attended a number of musical events. And more bands will be invited in the upcoming shows of the music camp.
