A map showing the locations of lychee orchards in Guangzhou has recently been released, providing guidance for people to pick and purchase the freshest lychee in different districts of the city. The map can be accessed via a QR code below.

This year, the area of lychee plantations in Guangzhou is 560,000 mu, which represents approximately one-seventh of the total lychee plantation area in Guangdong province. However, due to unfavorable weather conditions in previous months, this year's lychee production in Guangzhou is estimated to be around 60,000 tons, which is considerably lower than the 118,000 tons produced in 2023.

The map selects 67 orchards in six districts in Guangzhou, which provide relatively more lychee production and varieties for visitors, and offer self-picking service. The map details the orchard locations, contact phone numbers, planting areas, varieties, production volumes, and harvest time. It also shows the availability of express delivery and self-driving parking conditions.
