A grand festival featuring various intangible cultural heritages was held in Sanyuanli (三元里) street of Baiyun district, Guangzhou, and concluded on March 31.
Six engaging Chinese Yingge folk dance shows (英歌舞) were performed on March 23 and 24, attracting many people from far and wide to visit.
Chen, an onlooker who lives nearby, said he was deeply impressed by the Yingge dance. He had been watching related footage online and now he could feel the charm of this national intangible heritage in person.
Besides, the festival provided other activities for visitors to learn more about intangible cultural heritage items, such as Cantonese embroidery, paper cutting and tie-dyeing.
